Abstract This document specifies an Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP) mechanism for authentication and session key distribution using the Authentication and Key Agreement (AKA) mechanism used in the 3rd generation mobile networks Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS) and cdma2000.
